"Whatever increases, decreases, limits or extends the body's power of action, increases, decreases, limits or extends the mind's power of action. And whatever increases, decreases, limits or extends the mind's power of action, also increases, decreases, limits or extends the body's power of action."

FAQ's
Q.: I heard that certain body organs affect behavior and moods and feelings and stability (or lack of stability) or inability to tell true from false. What can you tell me about that?
A.: In working with a holistic health treatment team, I have learned that the following organs do impact thinking, feeling, emotions, and behavior:
thyroid (if the thyroid is under-active, humans can gain weight, have extreme changes in body temperature, tend toward depression, and can lose the ability to make decisions and take constructive actions)
adrenal medulla (if the adrenal medulla is under-active, motivation will be lacking, lethargy will prevail, energy will be low)
adrenal cortex (if the adrenal cortex is under-active, it can rob one of a sense of serenity, can cause a sense of feeling overwhelmed and can cause one to lose the ability to cope with stressors)
hypothalamus (if under-active, can cause one to believe false fears are real threats; can prevent differentiating the true from the false; can cause one to be unnecessarily anxious; can cause an inability to make choices and stick with them; can cause an inability to follow through on decisions; will leave one thinking she/he is better off in an abusive relationship rather than being alone in no relationship at all; and will deprive one of the ability to differentiate important stressors from unimportant or mild stressors)
acid imbalance (if one's body-pH is excessively acid, one will be restless, irritable, discontent and can even tend toward hostility; one will be driven to go and to do and to zoom)
alkaline imbalance (if one's body-pH is excessively alkaline, one will retain fluids, feel lethargic and tend toward depression)
chemical imbalance (if the chemicals are out of balance, then one will obsess on things or people and then act impulsively to try to bring their obsession into being; or a person can flip-flop between extremes of happiness and misery; or one can suffer depression; or one can constantly alternate between spiritual and material living, between constructive and self-destructive behaviors)
Q.: I also heard that what I eat can affect the way I feel and think and behave and function. What can you tell me about that specifically?
A.: Here are some DIETARY INFLUENCES:
high sugar (high sugar levels can create a temporary energy burst but will ultimately decrease energy levels; can trigger cravings for more sugar, can increase overall appetite, can disrupt the body's energy production, and can negatively impact the nervous system)
high carbohydrate intake (can create a temporary sense of well-being; will eventually convert to sugar and can create the same negative effects described above; can ultimately decrease energy levels; can cause a loss of the sense of well-being; can trigger a craving for more carbohydrates or can increase one's overall appetite)
vegetarian diet (only one in three people are of the vegetarian metabolic type which is a food plan that recommends 80% fruits, vegetables and grains and 20% chicken and fish. Please note: even vegetarian diets include some chicken and poultry; additionally, many claim to be "vegetarians" because they do not eat meat but instead eat macaroni, white rice, spaghetti, breads, cake, cookies, etc. In fact, none of those foods are vegetables and those people are not truly following an actual vegetarian food plan. When tested, many of those people are found to have sugar or carb allergies so that eating sugar or carb products triggers a desire for more sugar or carb products. In light of the fact that three distinct body types exist-each requiring a different food plan-we can see that a food plan or diet that works for one body type cannot possibly work for the other 67% of the population. If one is a "meat-vegetarian balanced body type" but eats vegetables only, he/she will likely crash the nervous system and the adrenal glands)
The BODY needs as much healing to produce stability as the MIND, for the BODY influences the MIND'S performance.
Q.: I've been told that my suffering and continued inconsistent behavior or not feeling my best is simply a spiritual problem. Are you suggesting that more might be involved?
A.: Modern science has proved that much suffering and many problem behaviors are rooted in chemical imbalances that can result in depression, bi-polar disorder, ADD, ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder and all other mental states that leave people not feeling their best. Spiritual efforts might address situational depression, for example, but the experiences of many clients have shown that something more was required to address any remaining organic depression.
Q.: Can I get the help I need without taking psychotropic drugs?
A: Such drugs often cause more damage to organs through their side effects that are usually worse than the illness being treated. The answer to your question is, in many cases, YES.
Q.: Can ALL of the components of my body be tested in one simple test?
A.: With the miracle of the latest laboratory testing possibilities, the answer is that most of the significant areas can be tested in one procedure in the lab.
Q.: Can the guesswork be taken out of determining whether the source of my real problem is depression, manic-depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic-stress-disorder, chemical imbalance, under-active thyroid, under-active adrenals, etc. without undergoing a battery of psychological exams, without months of diagnostic sessions, without dozens of blood tests?
A.: The answer is YES. All of that, because of the miracles of modern scientific testing and metabolic analysis procedures, can be determined with one quick and easy test that requires no blood work, no sessions, no battery of tests by a psychotherapist or a psychiatrist. And the treatment indicated as required will involve NO psychotropic drugs and NO medications with all their negative side effects.
"Suppose I am not able to think, that my mind is not clear. What does it mean? It means my food essence is rather dull today. It is not getting into combustion in proper order; therefore, the thinking is also dull. This mind pertains to the food essences."
---Maharaj, September 3, 1979
Q.: How can we find which organs and systems of the body are undernourished, under-performing, damaged, etc., without paying thousands of dollars for dozens and dozens of blood tests, which still cannot measure depression, OCD, etc.?
A.: We can take advantage of the advances in technology that make possible the measurement of organs' performance AND nervous system AND mental areas that need addressing as well.
